Day 1 – Rio Dulce

Embark on a journey to the Caribbean coast of Guatemala. Along the way, you’ll visit the fascinating Quiriguá Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its towering Maya stelae — the tallest ever discovered. Continue your adventure with a scenic boat ride along the breathtaking Río Dulce, winding through lush landscapes until you arrive in the vibrant town of Livingston.

Day 2 – Livingston

You’ll begin your journey by exploring the village of Livingston, home to the Garifuna people—descendants of a resilient community that escaped slavery on the island of Saint Vincent and found refuge along the shores of Central America. Next, venture into a natural park, where rivers and waterfalls create a stunning tropical landscape. Your day ends with relaxation on a pristine white-sand beach. 

Day 3 – Isla de Flores

Travel back by boat through the lush waterways of Río Dulce, passing through serene mangrove forests teeming with birdlife, tranquil water gardens, and stretches of protected rainforest. Along the way, marvel at the historic Castillo de San Felipe, a 17th-century Spanish fortress built to defend the region from English pirates. Afterward, continue your journey to the charming Isla de Flores, nestled on the beautiful Lake Petén Itzá.

Day 4 – Tikal

Explore the awe-inspiring ruins of Tikal, the most significant city of the Maya Classic Period. Wander through the lush tropical jungle and marvel at towering palaces and ancient temples that reveal the story of a once-powerful civilization. 

Day 5 – Yaxhá

Indulge in an extraordinary adventure within a city steeped in over a millennium of history. Nestled strategically along the shores of breathtaking lagoons and rivers, this locale invites you to explore the jungle on foot, marvel at the vibrant wildlife, and witness the stunning sunset casting its golden glow over a Maya pyramid.

Day 6 – Cráter Azul

Embark on a scenic, though lengthy, six-hour journey to Cobán. Along the way, enjoy a captivating boat ride through the lush tropical rainforest of Petén, navigating the winding waters of La Pasión River—one of the longest and most vital rivers for the ancient Maya civilization. Your adventure leads to a stunning crystalline lagoon, home to a remarkable underwater garden waiting to be discovered.

Day 7 – Semuc

Embark on a captivating full-day tour of this natural wonder. Semuc Champey is a breathtaking series of turquoise pools, where an underground river flows through limestone terrain. Enjoy a fun tubing adventure on the Cahabón River, hike to the iconic viewpoint for stunning panoramic views, and unwind in the crystal-clear pools.

Day 8 – Quiché

Take a scenic road trip through the rural landscapes of Quiché, one of Guatemala’s most unexplored regions. The route is lined with stunning vistas, offering a unique experience beyond traditional tourism. After approximately six hours on the road, you’ll arrive to Huehuetenango.

Day 9 – Huehuetenango

Begin your journey through Huehuetenango, home to the highest mountain ranges in Central America, soaring over 3,400 meters (11,000 feet) above sea level. Along the way, visit traditional indigenous villages such as Todos Santos Cuchumatán, where you’ll gain insight into the rich heritage of the Maya Mam culture. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with local traditions and experience authentic highland life.

Day 10 – Xela

Travel to Quetzaltenango, also known as Xelajú, the vibrant second capital of Guatemala. Your adventure begins in San Andrés Xecul, where you’ll admire a colorful and unique church, a powerful symbol of the fusion between Maya and Catholic faith. Then, explore the renowned highland towns of Almolonga and Zunil, where you’ll witness the impressive agricultural productivity that defines this fertile and picturesque region. End your day exploring the historic center of Xelajú.

Day 11 – Atitlán

Embark on a cultural journey around the famous Lake Atitlán, known as one of the most beautiful in the world. Enjoy a boat tour to three magical towns, where you’ll discover their traditions, art, and the warmth of the local Mayan culture.

Day 12 – Rostro Maya

You’ll witness an unforgettable sunrise from the summit of this majestic mountain, with breathtaking views of the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The journey begins at 4:00 a.m. with a vehicle transfer from your hotel to the base, followed by an approximately one-hour hike to the top of the Mayan Face.

Day 13 – Antigua

Explore the cobblestone streets of Antigua and immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of our culture. Visit the ruins of convents and churches, colonial houses, parks, fountains, and artisan markets, all with the guidance of a knowledgeable local guide.

Day 14 – Acatenango

This unforgettable 2-day tour is considered one of the most incredible experiences in Guatemala. The Acatenango Volcano, standing at 3,976 meters above sea level (13,044 feet), offers breathtaking views from its two peaks and a front-row seat to the spectacular eruptions of the nearby Fuego Volcano. Choose between a thrilling 4WD ride or a challenging 5-hour hike to reach the summit. As temperatures can drop to 5°C (41°F) at night, be prepared for a chilly but awe-inspiring high-altitude adventure. After setting up camp—with all equipment carried and prepared by our experienced staff—you’ll rest under the stars. 

Day 15 – Antigua

The next morning, ascend to the summit to witness a stunning sunrise before beginning your descent back to Antigua.
