How to get to Tikal?
The fastest and easiest way is by plane, the flight lasts 45 minutes from Guatemala City. If you have the time, it is possible to travel through the Atlantic route and visit the Guatemalan Caribbean. You can also travel through the mountains of Cobán and discover the paradise of Semuc Champey.
You can take the “Premium” night bus from Guatemala City if you want to save money. This bus departs at 9 pm and arrives at 6 am. It is possible to arrive by plane and return by bus.
