Day 1 – Tikal
Explore the awe-inspiring ruins of Tikal, the most significant city of the Maya Classic Period. Wander through the lush tropical jungle and marvel at towering palaces and ancient temples that reveal the story of a once-powerful civilization. Stay overnight on the picturesque Isla de Flores, nestled in the waters of Lake Petén Itzá.

Day 2 – Lanquín
You will journey to Lanquín, the gateway to Semuc Champey. This scenic yet lengthy trip takes approx. six hours. Upon arrival, you’ll have the chance to explore the Lanquín Caves, which the Maya believed to be the entrance to the underworld.

Day 3 – Semuc
Embark on a captivating tour of this natural wonder. Semuc Champey is a breathtaking series of turquoise pools, where an underground river flows through limestone terrain. Enjoy a fun tubing adventure on the Cahabón River, hike to the iconic viewpoint for stunning panoramic views, and unwind in the crystal-clear pools.

Day 4 – Quiché
Take a scenic road trip through the rural landscapes of Quiché, one of Guatemala’s most unexplored regions. The route is lined with stunning vistas, offering a unique experience beyond traditional tourism. After approximately six hours on the road, you’ll arrive to Panajachel, at Lake Atitlán.

Day 5 – Atitlán
Embark on a cultural boat tour around Lake Atitlán, renowned as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Discover the magic of three charming Mayan villages and immerse yourself in the warmth and traditions of local culture.

Day 6 – Antigua
Explore the cobblestone streets of Antigua and immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of our culture. Visit the ruins of convents and churches, colonial houses, parks, fountains, and artisan markets, all with the guidance of a knowledgeable local guide.

Day 7 – Pacaya
You’ll climb this incredible active volcano, which emits steam, ash, and occasionally lava. The ascent can be done on foot or on horseback. You can choose from a sunrise, morning, or sunset tour for a unique and memorable experience.
