Day 1: Rio Dulce

You will visit Quiriguá, the tallest carved stones in the Maya World. Then, you will navigate through the fascinating Rio Dulce until you reach Livingston, home of the Garifuna Culture.

Day 2: Livingston

You will explore this amazing people who escaped from slavery from the island of Saint Vincent to the shores of Central America. Then, you will travel to the picturesque Isla de Flores.

Day 3: Tikal

Tikal was the capital of the Maya.

You will discover monumental palaces and temples while walking inside the jungle of Tikal, the most important city of the Classic Maya period (200 to 900 BC). Then, you will enjoy Isla de Flores and the beautiful Lake Peten Itzá.

Day 4: Yaxhá

An extraordinary experience

Explore a monumental city steeped in over a thousand years of history, strategically nestled along the shores of breathtaking lagoons and rivers. Immerse yourself in the beauty of its wildlife and marvel at the sunset casting its glow over a Mayan pyramid.

Day 5: Crater Azul

Sail along the La Pasión River, one of the longest in the Petén jungle, in search of this beautiful crystal-clear lagoon with an astonishing underwater garden.

Day 6: Semuc Champey

A natural paradise awaits you.

Local guides will take you on an exciting journey of nearly 800 meters inside a water cave, you will do tubing down the River, climb up to the impressive viewpoint, and enjoy the natural pools.

Day 7: Quiché

Community tourism in Quiche.

You will take a road trip through rural areas of the unexplored Quiché, one of the most diverse regions of Guatemala. This would be an experience outside traditional tourism, full of breathtaking views, and Maya culture.

Day 8: Huehuetenango

The highest mountains of Central America.

You will do a cultural tour through the Maya region of Todos Santos in Los Cuchumatanes. On the way, you will do several stops to appreciate the impressive views of the mountains.

Day 9: Quetzaltenango

Xelajú is the second capital of Guatemala.

You will experience the countryside of Quetzaltenango in a unique way, visiting traditional markets, big agricultural plantations, and colorful towns.

Day 10: Chichicastenango

Learn about Maya syncretism in Chichi.

On Thursdays and Sundays, the town is transformed into the largest handicraft market in Central America. You will witness Maya ceremonies visiting the local cemetery which is considered the most colorful in the world.

Day 11 & 12: Lake Atitlán

A beautiful paradise on earth.

You’ll stroll through the mountains, soaking in the breathtaking vistas of the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. Immerse yourself in the enchanting local life as you explore three Mayan villages nestled along the lake’s shores.

Day 13 & 14: Antigua Guatemala

It was declared a World Heritage Site

A local guide will show you the most charming and emblematic sites of the city. Exploring its cobblestone streets, ruins of convents, beautiful colonial churches, and colorful markets.

Day 15: Pacaya Volcano

The route is full of spectacular views.

An active volcano expulsing steam, ash, and, occasionally lava. The climb is easy and takes about one hour. In the crater, you will enjoy the beautiful views and natural surroundings.
