You will discover beautiful pools of turquoise water, which are formed naturally when water from an underground river seeps through the limestone rocks.
You will explore 800 meters inside a water cave, go tubing down the Cahabón River, walk to the Mirador and enjoy the natural pools.
You will visit indigenous tows that still preserve their language and traditions. You will walk among the mountains of the cloud forest, home to the Quetzal, a symbolic bird of Guatemala.
First, you can visit Biotopo del Quetzal or “Salto de Chilascó” considered the highest waterfall in Central America. Then, in Cobán you will taste a delicious Kak’ik, the typical dish of the region.
The next day, you will make the tour to Semuc Champey accompanied by local guides. You can stay in the city of Cobán or in the town of Lanquin.
After Semuc Champey, you can travel to Tikal or Lake Atitlan.
